Susan Frances Keele

Susan Frances Keele, 92, of Ravenna, Ohio, went to be with Jesus on February 10, 2026. Susan was born in Farrington Township, Jefferson Co Illinois on May 10, 1933, to Rufus Alva Youngblood and Cuba Altress (Rapp) Youngblood. Susan Keele was a devoted Christian and a loving wife, mother of six children, grandmother of eleven grandchildren, and great grandmother of twenty-four great-grandchildren. Susan met the love of her life, Charles Ira Keele while growing up in Hickory Hills, Illinois, attending the same school. Susan and Charles were married on April 30, 1951 and were together until Charles' passing on February 26, 2025. Susan loved well and was well loved by all who knew her and she will forever be missed. Susan is preceded in death by husband Charles Keele, parents Rufus and Cuba Youngblood, Siblings Marsh, Perry, Leslie Gene, Joe, Judy Lovin Mathews, Jimmy, Benny, and her daughter Karen L. Darnell. Susan is survived by her daughter Kathryn D. Blankenship, sons Kenneth Keele (Debbie), Kevin Keele, Keith Keele, and Klint Keele (Candy), siblings Rufus Jr, Dennis, and Sally. Visitation is Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home in Streetsboro, Ohio. Service will begin at 12:00 PM followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery on State Route 303 in Mantua, Ohio. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
