Susan M (Martin) West

Susan M. West, 62 of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday October 29, 2024 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born December 2, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Bob and Guendolyn (Moore) Martin.  Susan has lived in Ravenna most of her life and retired from Aero Tarp Systems in Brimfield, where she worked as a seamstress.  She was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed boating, fishing and going to her lake house at Berlin Lake Reservoir.  She was fighter battling her way thru a kidney transplant.  IN addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Michael West and her brothers Timothy and Robert Martin.  Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Tommy J. West whom she married June 25, 1989, her children Amber Myers, Ryan Horne and Nichole West, her grandchildren Layla Horne, Allysa West, Bailey West, Victoria West, her siblings Russ Martin and Lori Martin and Step mother Sandy Martin.  In honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2025.  Condolences and memories of Susan may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
