Tammy Jean Murphy 49 of Ravenna passed away December 14, 2012 peacefully with her family by her side after a long hard 3 year battle with breast cancer. Tammy was born June 19, 1963 in Akron, Ohio to Robert and Dorothy (Gould) Erdman. She enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching, crocheting, her button collections and her furry and feathery friends, Hemi, Lucy, Nunzio, Gracie, Ceasar, Duke and Merty. But most of all her grandkids Kailee and Levi. Survivors include her dear husband of 34 years Lee, daughters Dusty (Robert Adkins) of Ravenna, Mindy Jean of Kent and Amanda (Jake Daniels) of Mantua, grandchildren Levi and Kailee Daniels, sisters Brenda (Todd) Ralston of Kent, Roberta Cox of Akron, Judy (Bob) Nelson of Akron, brothers Ronald Erdman of Kent and Donald (Gabby) Erdman of West Virginia along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Barry Erdman, sister Bonnie Erdman and niece Dorothy Jean Nelson. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM to time of memorial service at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Skip Wilson officiating.
