Tammy L. (Resh) Tasker

Tammy L. (Resh) Tasker, 55, of Wayland, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 25, 2013, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born September 17, 1957 in Warren to Teddy L. Resh and Dolores E. (Durst) Resh.  Tammy was a life-long resident of Paris Township and a 1976 graduate of Southeast High School.  On June 12, 1976, Tammy Married her high school sweetheart, Rick Tasker of Wayland and they spent 36 loving years together with their family in Wayland, Ohio.  Tammy enjoyed spending time with her  family, especially her 4 grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews; spending time outdoors; and her annual fishing vacation to Canada with her family.  Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law. She leaves behind her loving husband, Rick Tasker, parents Teddy Resh and Delores (Durst) Resh of Newton Falls, OH, a daughter, Renee Tasker (Corey Rider), a son, Bo (Bekki) Tasker of Wayland, her 4 grandchildren,  Haylee, Dylan, Brady, and Bo,  her brother Teddy (Betty) Resh Jr, of Palmyra, as well as many other extended family members. Friends and family may call on Monday, May 27, 2013, from 6 - 8 PM Monday May 27, 2013 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home 141 N. Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Edinburg First Church of God, 4084 Rockspring Rd, Ravenna, OH 44266 at 11:00 AM where friends and family may also call from 10 am to 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Edinburg First Church of God.
