Thelma Lee (Gilreath) Rice

Thelma Lee Rice 85 of Ravenna died Saturday, October 18, 2014. She was born March 18, 1929 in Kent, Ohio to Jewel and Irene (Jones) Gilreath. A lifelong Portage County resident, Thelma enjoyed a lengthy career in Environmental Services at Robinson Memorial Hospital where she made many friends among her co-workers. Survivors include her daughter Karen L. North of WI, sons Jeffrey Rice of Ravenna, James (Mike) Rice of Birmingham, AL and Brian Rice of Cleveland, grandchildren Kelli Kitto (Wes), Tawnya Bosko (Mark), Jasen North (Desirae), Alyssa Ferraro (Paul), Jamie Rice, Michael Rice, Nicole Stefansic Vargas (Christian) and Trevor Rice, and brothers John and David Gilreath both of TX and Raymond Gilreath of MI, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Beverly Rice, grandson Erik Rice, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
