Theodore B. "Ted" Ferringer 58 of Rootstown died Saturday, June 12, 2010 after a couragous battle with cancer. He was born November 12, 1951 in Jamestown, NY to Chester and Geraldine (Strombaugh) Ferringer. Formerly of Stow, he has lived in Rootstown for the past 10 years and was vice president of Foundation Industries. Survivors include his wife of 33 years Pamela (Booher), daughter Megan Murray of Ravenna, son Drew Ferringer of Akron, grandchildren Ian Murray and Fionna Breen and brothers Harold, David, Michael and John Ferringer all of NY and Sam Ferringer of Warren, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jackie Ferringer and son in law Jeremy Murray. Calling hours will be from 5 - 8 PM Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the funeral home with Jon Booher officiating. Cremation will follow the services. In lieu of flowers memorial should be made to the family c/o Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, OH 44266 .
