Theresa (Steganga) Bane

Theresa Bane, 92 of Twinsburg, passed away Wednesday April 16, 2025 at the Medina Hospice of Western Reserve.  She was born February 1, 1933 in Wyckel, Netherlands to the late Seimon and Edith (Ferdinard) Stegenga.  Theresa has lived in Twinsburg the past 20 years and was formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC and Streetsboro.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter C. Bane in March of 2002, her daughter Marjorie Bane, her daughter in law Linda Bane and siblings Randy Stegenga, Anita Davidson and Gary Stegenga.  Survivors include her children  Jess (Sandy) Bane, Mark Bane,  Bryan (Deanna) Bane, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister Rita Stegenga.  In honoring her request cremation has taken place and  graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday May 10, 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro.  Condolences and memories of Theresa may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
