Thomas A Hayes

Thomas Arlie Hayes 68 of Ravenna passed away Friday October 14, 2011 at Maplewood Care Center.  He was born June 17, 1943 in Brady Lake to the late Arlie and Nora (Stevens) Hayes.  He was a lifelong resident of Portage county where he served with the Air Force.  Thomas retired from Gougler Industries in Kent, was a member of the Ravenna VFW, American Legion, and Eagles.  Survivors include his step daughter, Tina Marie (Woody) Holbrook of Woodstock, AL, step-sons, Tim (Sandy) Hogerfe of Ravenna, Tim (Wilma) Hagaman of Ravenna, Randall (Rita) Trent of Crab Orchard, WV, and a niece, Diana (Vance) Richardson of Deerfield. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Faye Hayes in 2009, and several sisters and brothers. Cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Ravenna.
