Thomas Ira (Jr.) Knisely

Thomas Ira Knisely, Jr. 72 of Florida passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 in Hollywood, Florida. He was born May 24, 1947 in Salem, Ohio to Thomas Ira Sr. and Hazel (Hopkins) Knisely. Thomas worked for the railroad and loved to fish. Survivors include his daughter Melissa (John Jr.) McCarthy, grandchildren Emmett McCarthy, Cierra Porter and Alona Porter, great grandchildren Kenedii McCarthy and Kylee McCarthy, siblings Richard (Debbie) Knisely, John Knisely, Robert (Amanda) Knisely, Dawn Bounds, Kitty (James) McCune and Mary Doolittle, former wife Garnet Knisely and many nieces, nephews, great neices and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Iva Knisely and siblings Thomas Eugene Knisely, George Knisely, Joyce Brady, Mary Janet and Jeannie Church. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crilsip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
