Thomas E Straw, Sr

Thomas E. Straw, Sr. 78 o Kent, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2020 at University Hospitals in Cleveland.   He was born November 3, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Johnathan and Dorothy K. (King) Weigand.  He has lived in Kent the past seven years and was formerly of Ravenna, where he operated Cam Records for the past 34 years.  Mr. Straw was an avid train and coin collector.  He was a veteran of the US Army.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Dottie Waner.  Survivors include his children Thomas Straw, Jr.,  Karen Straw,  Dale Straw,  Scott (Lisa) Straw , nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many other family members.    Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM Tuesday January 28, 2020 until time of services at 11:00 AM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial with Military Honors will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery Rittman, Ohio.
