Thomas J. "T.J." Harris

Thomas J. "T.J."  Harris,  47 of Ravenna  passed away Sunday May 3, 2020 at his home.  On January 7, 1973, he was born in Barberton, Ohio to the late Clyde M. and Vicki R. (Prosser) Kelley.  T.J.  has lived in Ravenna the past 15 years and was formerly of Barberton.  Having a beautiful voice, T.J. loved gospel music and singing karaoke, he recorded four records in Nashville, TN.  He was a part of the peer support group for the recovery community and loved playing keno with his long time friend Steve.  Survivors include his long time and best friend Steve Eatinger, Madison Greenleaf whom he considered and raised her like his own daughter, his siblings, Crystal Harris, James Kelley, Rick Harris, his nieces, Allison, Brooklynn, Sonya, Savannah, his nephews Shawn , Tyler , many great nieces, nephews and many many friends.  At this time cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life  service at a later date.  Condolences and memories of T.J. may be shared with his family and friends at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.  Please make any memorial contributions to the Open United Recovery Place  PO Box 713 Kent, Ohio 44240.
