Thurma J. Depew 87 of Aurora died Thursday, May 26, 2016. She was born June 1, 1928 in Shellknob, Missouri to Charles and Mabel (Mills) Woods. Thurma was a life member of the Aurora VFW #2629 Auxiliary and worked as a Cook for Anna Maria Nursing Home. Survivors include her daughters Linda Heaney, Bonnie (Darrell) Hartsock, Julia Kowalcyk, Thurma Flynn and Dianna Flynn, sons John (Bonnie) Flynn, Frank Flynn and Joe (Debra) Flynn, 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and brothers Don, Charlie, Ben and Ken Coker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Francis R. Flynn and Richard Depew, daughter Betty Flynn, son Robert Flynn and sister Betty Simpson. Calling hours will be from 4 - 8 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2016 and for 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Reverend William Snyder will officiate. Burial will follow in Aurora City Cemetery.
