Timothy A. Burkey 54 of Deerfield Surrounded by his loving family, passed away peacefully at home Friday, December 9, 2011. Tim was born February 5, 1957 in Ravenna. A life time resident of Deerfield, He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Tim's beloved Angel, Sarah (Sally) Burkey, children, Jacqueline Burkey of Diamond, Brandon (Samantha) Burkey of Lisbon, Shawn Burkey of Deerfield, Ashley Chuifo of Rootstown, sister, Peggy Stokes of Deerfield, Betty Ann Burkey of Melbourne, FL, brothers, Charles Burkey, Donald L. Burkey, Dwayne E. Burkey all of Deerfield, Jody (Cheryl) Burkey of North Benton, grandchildren, Austin M. Tucker, Lindsey M. Tucker, Angelina B. Burkey, Timothy A. Burkey, in laws, mother, Diane Sears , brothers, Tim (Lisa) Sears, Eric Sears, Andy (Shayne) Sears, sister, Debbie (Phil) Oslin, and best friend, John Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty Burkey, beloved father-in-law, Sam Sears, son-in-law, Michael Tucker. Tim enjoyed life and spending it with family and friends, enjoyed playing in his band Rock-n-roll ave, Tim loved hunting, fishing, golfing, playing guitar, loved his animals & playing with his grandchildren, Tim would go out of his way to help others he worked for Keller-Hall Inc. and started his own business, Fabro Steel Inc. working side by side with his son's. Tim was a member of the, NFIB, NRA, Sons of Union veterans, Spokesman for the national Congressional Republic Party. A special Thank You to Robinson Visiting Nurses and Hospice. Calling hours will be held from 1 - 3 and 6-8 PM Monday, December 12, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Fuenral home Ravenna Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Mix officiating. Burial will follow the service in Deerfield Cemeterey.
