Ty A. Marlin, Jr.

Ty A. Marlin, Jr., 31, of Streetsboro, passed away Thursday January 15, 2026 at his home. He was born in Akron, Ohio to Ty A. and Elaine M. (Schueller) Marlin on May 24, 1994. Ty was a lifelong resident of Streetsboro and was a carpenter working in construction. He was preceded in death by his father Ty, Sr. in 2010, grandfather Jearl Marlin in 2016, aunt Ladonn Marlin in 2019, grandmother Brenda Sanders in 2020, and grandmother Marie Schueller in 2022. Those left to cherish his memory are his son Ty A. Marlin, III, his mother Elaine M. Marlin (fiancé Michael Poderzay), his grandfather Stephen R. Schueller, his siblings Angela (Ryan) Mautz, Jennifer (David) Barber, Nicholas Marlin (fiancé Kayla Simmons), his aunt and uncles Stephen J. and Christine Schueller, Scott Sanders, nephew Lucas Barber, niece Emma Barber, and the mother of his son Cassandra Atkinson. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday January 21, 2026 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel, where funeral services will be 12:30 PM Thursday January 22, 2026.
