Valentine V. (Smatsky) Kuneman

Valentine V. Kuneman 87 of Streetsboro died Friday, June 8, 2012. She was born February 14, 1925 in Elsworth, PA to the late Charles and Constance (Semborski) Smatsky. Mrs. Kuneman was a founding member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro and had lived in Streetsboro 52 years. Survivors include her daughters Constance Sterger of Monroe Falls, OH, Diana Cunningham of Randolph, OH and Jeanette (Terry) Jones of WA, son Joseph (Debra) Kuneman of Streetsboro, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1993, sisters Irene Brabel and Jean Trimble and brothers Albert, Stanley and William Smatsky. There will be no calling hours, a graveside service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro with Sister Eileen Kernan officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
