Venetia A. (Hustus) Ward

Venetia A. "Vee" Ward 84 of Ravenna died Wednesday, February 18, 2015. She was born August 5, 1930 in Alliance, Ohio to Christ and Mary A. (Riffle) Hustus. Formerly of Chagrin Falls, she has lived in Ravenna since 1970, attended the Ravenna Assembly of God and worked at Twin Star Lanes as a waitress. Vee enjoyed crocheting, reading and talking to people. Survivors include her husband Richard "Dick" whom she married on April 29, 1967, sisters Freda Cunningham of N. Canton, Helen Haynes of Sebring, Angela McNichol of Oregon and Anna Zumkehr of Alliance, brothers John H. Hustus of Virginia, Michael Hustus of Florida and Nicholas Hustus of Alliance and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Christina Orlando and a brother Louis J. Hustus. Calling hours will be from 10 AM to time of services at 12 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Reverend Gary Beck officiating. The committal service will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring, Ohio.
