Vina M (Edwards) Danford

Vina M. Danford, 96, of Ravenna, Ohio passed away at her home Monday June 1, 2020. Vina was born in Cambridge, Ohio March 28, 1924 to the late William and Daisy (Syme) Edwards. She has been a resident of Ravenna since 1952 and was a member of the Ravenna United Methodist Church. Vina spent her career as a custodial worker for Kent State University.   She loved spending time with her grandchildren,loved gardening and canning.  In addition to her parents she preceded in death by her  husband Leland Danford who passed away May 26, 1991, her sons Ronald and William, her sister Virginia Hale and brother Richard Edwards. Vina is survived by her son J. Scott (Judy) Danford,  six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Private family burial  burial was held at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna, Ohio.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
