Virgil E. "Gene" Clark

Virgil Eugene Clark, known by his family and friends as Gene, 83 of Diamond, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at UH Cleveland. Gene was born on October 28, 1939 in Freeport, Illinois to the late Ernest and Anna Clark. He was a mechanical engineer working for several aerospace companies. Gene attended Santa Monica college, was an avid brace beagler, a race car fanatic and loved gardening. He is survived by his wife Janice M. Clark, his children Laurette (Jack) Harris, Adam (Freyda) Clark and Eric (Sandy) Clark, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Per his request, cremation has taken place and the family ask in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Beagle Rescue.
