Virgil Everett Rowe

Virgil Everett Rowe 71 of Ravenna passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born December 11, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Everett Rowe and Winifred Rowe-Green. He was a machinist for over 40 years when he retired. Virgil was a avid basketball player up in to his 60's and was a lifelong fan of Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Brenda G. (Blair) Rowe whom he married in 1982, his daughter, Pamela Jo Woods of CO, son Raymond Rowe of Ravenna, grandsons, Eli McGreagor & Braden Moreno, his extended family, Kim, Mike, Bradley, Brian Sweet, and his many friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Alyce Kay Artup, and a brother, Ace Rowe. A Celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel where family and friends may call from 1:00 PM till the time of service. Rev. James Walden Jr. will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Virgil Rowe's name to the Streetsboro Athletic Boosters, RRAC, 841 Hunter Ridge Drive, Streetsboro, Ohio 44241
