Walter Lynn White 28 of Windham died Friday, July 30, 2010. He was born September 23, 1981 in Akron, OH to Jack William and Katherine I. (Syslo) White. Formerly of Kent, he has lived in Windham since 2008 and had been a self employed carpet installer and worked as a caretaker for Whitehaven and Hiram Farms. Walter attended Lake Brady United Methodist Church , was a member of the Ravenna Moose #1234, the Kent Masonic Lodge #316 and was involved in DeMolay. Survivors include his mother Katherine I. White of Ravenna, daughters Anastasia and Lana at home, loving partner Susan Sklenar, sisters Amy White of Akron and Shawnda White of NC, brothers Marty and Jack, Jr. both of NC and his uncle John Syslo of Ravenna. Cremation has taken place, memorial calling hours will be from 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 4, 2010 until the 3:00 PM memorial service at Lake Brady United Methodist Church in Brady Lake with Pastor Gary Glasscock officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
