Wayne Henry Raber, lost his battle with lung cancer at the young age of 80. Born on November 17, 1936. He was raised and born on a dairy farm in Hartville. There were 10 siblings to help on the farm, brothers Alvin (Viola), David (Amanda), Alfred (Edna), Leroy (Barb), Verton (Sue), sisters Lydia (John) Miller, Keturah (Paul) Sommers and Alice (Christ) Troyer. His father Henry, mother Elsie and brother John are waiting for Wayne to show him the ropes in Heaven. He was a diehard Cleveland Indians Fan and couldn't wait for spring training. After being stationed in Alaska while serving in the Air Force, he decided to settle down and married Sandra Vair. They had two beautiful children together, daughter Deborah (Charles) Hutton and son Ricky (Patricia) Raber. After 49 years of trucking he married Darlinda and gained three stepchildren, Angela, Charles (Jessie) and Jennifer (Joshua). The family expanded to 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until 12 PM Friday, December 23, 2016 at Bethany Mennonite Church, 3497 Edison Street, Hartville, OH 44632. A short service by Homer Zook and a lunch will follow the calling hours. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110.
