Wilbur E. Sinn

Wilbur E. Sinn 87 of Newton Falls passed away Friday April 15, 2011 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Warren, Ohio.  He was born May 30, 1923 in Paris Twp., Ohio to the late Henry and Fern (Johnson) Sinn.  He has lived in Newton Falls since 1996 and was formerly of Portage County since 1946.  He worked as an environmental specialist for Portage County Health Department.  Mr. Sinn was a member of the Newton Falls American Legion and the First Christian Church in Newton Falls, Ohio.  He was a veteran of the US Navy.  Survivors include his daughter Barbara Cooper of Suffield, grandson Mitch Cooper of Suffield, sister Thelma McFarland and niece Linda Mallog both of Newton Falls.  Calling hours will be from 6:30 PM until time of funeral services at 7:30 PM on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  A private family burial will be on Wednesday at Newton Falls Cemetery  Newton Falls, Ohio.
