Wilda J (Richards) Carr

Wilda J. Carr, 91 of Ravenna passed away  on Saturday August 24, 2019 at Kent Ridge Home after a long battle with Alzheimers.   She was born on November 22, 1927 to the late Ray and Margie (Whitney) Richards. Wilda lived most of her life in Ravenna and worked for the Record Courier joggin and stacking papers.  She retired in 1992. Wilda is survived by her daughter Jean Ann (Loran) Sink of Kent and son Gary (Anita) Carr of Ravenna,  grandson Nick (Bronwyn) Carr,  great grandchildren Aubrey and Luke Carr, four sisiters and two brothers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel May 5, 2000, son Ronald  Carr on May 7, 2011, and  three sisters and two brothers.  Private family services have taken  place at Grandview Memorial Park.  Condolences and memories of Wilda can be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.net.
