Willard R. Burrows

Willard R. Burrows 74, from Grantsville, WV and formerly of Windham, OH passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his nieces home in Streetsboro. He was born December 17, 1939 in Grantsville, WV to D.K. Burrows and Leone (Kelly) Burrows. He served with the Army from 1963 - 1965. Worked as a supervisor for General Motors for 30 years where he had perfect attendance. Willard enjoyed hunting, dirt track racing, gardening and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Kathleen Burrows, his beloved dog Pooh, and mother, Leone Burrows of Marietta, OH. He was loved and adored by so many nieces and nephews, Debbie & Jimmy, Jamie & Kelly, Whitney & Jeff, Kim & Ken, Laurie & Espy, Donny & Kim, Pete & Yogi,  and just so many more. He is also survived by a sister, Louise Kovar and brothers, Charles (Ruth) Burrows, Denzil (Brenda) Burrows. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Billy Burrows. Family and Friends may call from 5 - 8 PM Monday, February, 17, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. (9781 Page Road Streetsboro, OH 44241). Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 18, 2014.  Brother Willie Ailstock will be officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Windham Township Cemetery.
