Willard M. Meloy

Willard M. Meloy, 86, of Brimfield went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Altercare in Brimfield. He was born July 25, 1931 in Ravenna to Clarence and Leona (Mellon) Meloy. Willard was a U.S. Army veteran, member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle, and worked as a foreman for Highway Products. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Geneva A. (Farnsworth), children Walter Meloy, Richard (Margie) Meloy, Sue (Robert) Boone, Wanda (George) Cochran and Timothy (Nicole) Meloy; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Leroy, George and Carl Meloy; Bertha Candy; Grace and Bessie Meloy; Claire Cumpson, Florella Tacket and Georgalee O'Lear. Calling hours are from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home (Ravenna Chapel). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
