William A. Andrei

William A. Andrei 73 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at his home. He was born at home November 28, 1940 in Cleveland to the late Carl and Eleanor (Franko) Andrei. William has lived in Ravenna since 1962 coming from Trumbull County. He worked for A.C. Williams and retired from DuraCoat in Ravenna. William enjoyed restoring old cars and collecting toys, going to car shows and swap meets, He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Janice (Engler) Andrei whom he married April 22, 1960, his children, Bill (Jodi) Andrei, Dennis Andrei, both of Rootstown, Kathleen (John) Doneyko of Cortland, Suzanne Goodwin of WI, 6 grandchildren, C.J. Andrei, Kenady (Ken) Holcomb, Taylor (Bryan) Green, Kyle Doneyko, Spencer Andrei, Alex Doneyko, 3 great grandchildren, and his brother, Carl (Carole) Andrei of Ravenna. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by is son-in-law, Buzz Goodwin. Calling hours will be held from 5 - 7 PM Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip p Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel, 141, N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, OH. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2014 in Grandview Memorial Park with Rev. William Snyder officiating. A special thank you to nurse Meg for her compassionate care.
