William R. Cooper, Jr.

William R. Cooper, Jr. 71 of Ravenna passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at UH Portage Medical Center. He was born August 19, 1951 in Hinton, WV to William R. and Irene (Whitlock) Cooper. William was a US Army veteran a teamster and a truck driver for Horning Supply. Survivors include his wife Sandra (Clark), children Rhonda (Larry Holmes) Cooper and Jeff Cooper, grandchildren Kailey (Scott) McMullen, Chase (Kerrie) Cooper and Kyla Holmes, 3 great grandchildren, siblings Mary Dailey, Bob Cooper, Linda Willis and Annie Shrewsberry and stepmother Janice Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents William Cooper and Irene (James) Shrewsberry, his brother Buddy Cooper, his sisters Garnet (Pud) Cooper and Julie Barnes. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 12 PM Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Cremation will follow the service.
