William L. Haffly Ii

William L. "Slick Willie" Haffly II 67, of Ravenna passed away at his home on Saturday September 13, 2014.  He was born April 30, 1947 in Brady Lake, Ohio to the late William L.  and Mildred Ann (Paddock) Haffly I,  Bill has been in Ravenna most of his life and retired from Allen Aircraft where he worked as a machinist.  He was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved growing tomatoes.  Bill was a social member of the Ravenna American Legion and a member of the Ravenna Moose 1234 and the Ravenna Italian American Club.  Survivors include his wife of 12 years Myrna (Gray) Haffly, his children Michelle Kline, William "Billy" Kline, his step children Matthew (Debbie) Wyers, Phillip (Judy) Matonis, Nathaniel (Shawna) Matonis, Anthony Matonis, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.  Calling hours will be 5-7 PM on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  At Bill's request there will be no services and cremation will take place.
