William A. Hall Sr. 76 of Rootstown passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born October 4, 1933 in Flushing, Ohio to the late John W. and Daisy A. (Monohan) Hall. William served with the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Manco Corp in Avon in 1998, was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman. Survivors include his children, William "Allan" (Jeannine) Hall Jr. of Jefferson, Charles (Toni) Hall of Brady Lake, Tammy Day (Ritchie) Wadsworth of Ravenna, Randy (Marybeth) Day of Stow, Sandra (Frank) Reed of West Farmington, Beth (Dennis) Channel of Stow, Alana Thoren of Burton, grandchildren, Jeanna (Dan) Yohman, Brian Vargo and Cynthia Green, Nathan (Danyelle) Day, Jennifer Day, Adam Day, Ryan Day, Charles Hall, Bryce Hall, Robert Brantner, Joshua Brantner, Carmela Bradt, Jeremy Evans, Steven Reed, Samantha Cox, Jodi Lamb, Mario Ottaviano, great grandchildren, Rayna, Anthony, Hayden, Kolt, Klarissa, Selina, Elizabeth, Gennah, Journey, Aiden, Amaya, Jocelyn, Kaylee, Addison, and Chevy, brother, Don W. Hall of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma "Reenie" Hall. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 PM Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 24, 2010 with Rev. Greg McClelland. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna.
