William A. Swenskie 84 of Seville, Ohio, formerly of Streetsboro, died Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born December 13, 1928 in Clarksburg, WV to William and Mary (Bohensky) Swenskie. he was a US Navy veteran of WWII, retired from Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg as a Die Setter Supervisor, was agifted cabinet maker, a charter member of the Akron Silver League Slo Pitch and Travel Teams, enjoyed Harley Davidsons, bowling, hunting, fishing , his little buddy Kobe and most of all watching his grandchildren play sports. Survivors include his wife loving Marty (Hastings) Easton-Swenskie, daughters Betty Lou (Ed) Skidmore, Nadine (Darryl) Wamplers, Danita (Joe) Srodek, Dawn (Brian) Rice and Danna (Burch) Vandergriff, sons James (Tracy Reuter) Swenskie and Dan (Thelma) Easton, 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brother John Swenskie and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including special cousins Dolores Furratti and Gloria Masters. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Mary Kay Niemiec, sisters Mary Joan and Dolores and brother Anthony. Calling hours will be from 4 - 7 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7 PM Tuesday with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday in Frostburg, Maryland. The family request memorials to HMC Hospice of Medina County (www.hospiceofmedina.org)
