William "Bill" Warne Anderson, Sr.

William Warne "Bill" Anderson, Sr. 71 of Streetsboro passed away Wednesday October 14, 2015 at his home.  He was  born November 5, 1943 in Bellvue, PA to the late Arthur D.  and Gertrude M. (Warne) Anderson and has lived in Streetsboro the past 25 years.    He retired from Kennametal where he worked as a machinist and was a veteran of the US Navy.  Mr. Anderson was a member of the Streetsboro American Legion Post 685 and a charter member of the Streetsboro American Legion Riders.  He enjoyed the outdoors , especially camping, hunting, fishing and riding his Harley.  Survivors include his wife  of 28 years Helen (Paul) Iwanyckyj-Anderson, his children William Anderson, Jr., Robert Anderson, Kimberly Anderson, his step children Scott Iwanyckyj, John Iwanyckyj, Michael Iwanyckyj, Tina Iwanyckyj-Craver, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Also surviving him are his siblings Mary Jane (Russell) Kloess, Charles M. (Margaret) Anderson and Arthur D. (Barbara) Anderson.  There will be no calling hours , military honors will be 11:00 Am Monday October 26, 2015 at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery Rittman, Ohio.  Following the services at the cemetery the family asks that all join them at the Streetsboro American Legion Post 685 for a time of sharing and  refreshments.   Condolences and memories of Bill may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
