Winona B (Garner) Delair

Winona B. DeLair, 91 of Shalersville, passed away Friday September 29,  2023 at her home with her family by her side. On October 5, 1931 she was born in Scrubgrass Twp., PA. to the late Lawrence L. and Isabell (Barger) Garner.  Having lived in Shalersville the past 60 years  and being a Registered Nurse she had plenty of enjoyment taking care of people, especially her husband who was a paraplegic in his last 30 years and  being a wonderful caregiver for others.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by  her husband Dean L. DeLair on March 5, 2004 and her sister Ruth Noble.  Survivors include her children Leroy (Cathy) DeLair, Deanna (Ron) Dedon, Marsha McMullen, her grandchildren Annie (Brent) Dickerson,  Troy Trimble,Jr, Beth (Jarret Ryan) Valdez, Chad (Jamie) McMullen,  Nick McMullen,  her great grandchildren Alex Valdez, Anna McMullen, Tallie Valdez, Patrick and Sam Ryan her sisters Mary Dunlap, Vaunda Spaulding and her 102 year old aunt Icle Scott.  Calling hours will be Wednesday October 4, 2023 from 11 Am until time of the 12 Pm funeral service at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Shalersville, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Winona may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
