Yvonne K. (Bennett) Ames

Yvonne K. Ames 75 of Warren formerly of Portage County passed away Tuesday August 6, 2013 at the Community Skills Nursing Home in Warren. She was born April 13, 1938 in Bluefield, WVA to the late George and Gracie (Shrewsberry) Bennett. Mrs. Ames has worked as a flight attendant, a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas and was a manager for a sports store in Tennessee. She is survived by her son Jeff (Valerie) Ames , her grandson Addison and her siblings Rita Bennett-Phillips, Pat Bennett-Griffiths, Ron Bennett, Pete Bennett, Henry Bennett and Bob Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Ames and her brother Jack Bennett. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place.
