Yvonne Walker

Yvonne Walker, 52 of Kent passed away suddenly on Thursday April 29, 2021 at her home in Kent.  Yvonne was born on October 16, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles F. Walker and Elaine (Porter) Walker.   Living in Kent the past five years she formerly lived in the Atwater and Ravenna areas.  She was a veteran of the US Army and attended Upper Room Ministries in Ravenna, and First Baptist Church in Streetsboro, Ohio.  She loved watching old classic movies.  Survivors include her mother Elaine Walker, her siblings Leander (Tonya) Walker, Anthony Walker, Kenneth (Jeanette) Walker, her aunts Toni (Eddie) Brown-Harris, Joyce Nicholson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  She was preceded in death by her father Charles F. Walker.  At the family's request cremation has taken place.  Memorial calling hours will be Saturday May 15, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of memorial services at 12 noon at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
