Zinnia Gay Vance 74, a 50 year resident of Streetsboro died Friday, January 20, 2017. She was born November 10, 1942 in Sunbeam, WV to Cecil C. and Merrill (Reynolds) Nelson. Mrs. Vance was an Inspector for Cintas and a dedicated homemaker. Survivors include her Children Denise (George) Ferris of Ravenna, Diane (William) Hight of Streetsboro, Raymond L. (Sonya) Vance II of Akron and Greg (Char) Vance of Twinsburg, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sisters Shelvy Hult of Columbus, OH, Susie Harmon of Lancaster, OH, Bessie (Benny) Nieves of Grafton, OH, Carol Dempsey of Big Creek, WV, Julia "Pinky" (Clifford) Ellis of Ranger, WV and Bonnie Holsing of Hartscreek, WV and brother James (Becky) Nelson of Turtle Creek, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents. her husband Raymond L. Vance in 1982, sisters Shirley Martin and Sandy McLoud and brothers Kermit and Leonard Nelson. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 25, 2017 with Pastor Clifford Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
