Albert D Richards

Albert D. Richards, 98 of Ravenna,  passed away Monday March 25, 2024 at the Alpine House in Ravenna, Ohio.  On July 30, 1925, Mr. Richards was born in Warren, Ohio to the late Ray and Marjorie (Whitney) Richards. He was a lifelong Portage County resident, was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WW II and had retired from Rockwell International in Newton Falls, Ohio.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine on September 10, 2010, his siblings Orel, Mildred, Dorothy, Wilda, Donald and Robert.  Survivors include his children Cathy (Gary) Mix, Larry D. (Jean) Richards, Daniel (Patty) Richards, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and siblings  Clara, Janet, Mary, Louise and Tom.  In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial calling hours will be 10 AM until time of the memorial services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Private family burial with military honors will be in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
