Alice Clay 82 of Mantua Township passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at University Hospital in Cleveland from complications following cardiac surgery. She was born July 8, 1939 in Logan County, WV to Lenvil and Della (Hall) Workman. Alice was a member of the Mantua Country Baptist Church and her life revolved around baking and cooking as her passion. Everyone that came across Alice could not help but love her and she cared and loved everyone in return especially her husband, children and grandchildren. Survivors include her sons Ed (Brandee) Clay and Jim (Diane) Clay, grandchildren Ed, Brian and Jeff and siblings Russell (Peggy) Workman, Carlos (Judy) Workman, Lucy (Muncy) Mead, Molly (Rufus) Johnston and Mary (Tim) Gould. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank and siblings Clarence Workman and Ann (Sonny) Tomblin. Calling hours will be from 2 PM until time of funeral service at 4 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Reverend Murray Bay will officiate.
