Allison Armentrout Obituary

Allison G. Armentrout

Into the loving arms of her Jesus, Allison Grace Armentrout of North Canton, OH went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 27, 2023 while at the Justin T Rogers Hospice Care Center in Akron, OH. She was 55 yrs. old.

Born July 8, 1967 in Massillon, OH to Richard "Dick" and Carolyn (Bell) Armentrout. Allison attended Christian Ministries School and graduated from McKinley High School of Canton, OH in 1985. She received a BA of English Composition from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master's Degree in English Rhetoric and Composition from Kent State University in Kent, OH.

Ms. Armentrout shared her fervor of the English language while teaching as an adjunct Professor of English Composition at Malone College, Walsh University, Stark State College and Kent State university Stark Campus. Allison recently employed as a Bank Teller with PNC Bank, Avondale Branch in Canton, OH.

Allie loved to create, whether it was through the rhythm of dance with the Canton Ballet during her youth and teen years, or by sharing her passion for ceramics while working at the former Flame-Kissed Creations ceramic shop in No. Canton or creating beautiful music with the Canton Symphony Chorus with her "milk chocolate and honey" voice where she was both a member and past President.

Ever increasing in her faith and knowledge of the Word of God, Allison shared in the community of believers at the Alliance Christian Center Church in Alliance, OH where she served at the Women's Fellowship Coordinator.

An avid lover of animals, Allison had an enormous heart, especially for her 5 cats, birds and chickens; which she cherished. Her greatest joy; however, was making memories with her friends and family.

Preceded in death by her sister "baby Susu" Roberta "Robin" George, Maternal grandparents Robert and Vivienne Bell, Paternal grandparents Howard and Kathryn Armentrout, and Uncles Daniel Armentrout and Douglas Armentrout.

She is survived by her parents Dick and Carolyn of Canton, OH, brothers Richard GH of No. Canton, David (Julie) of Columbus, OH, Christopher E. of No. Canton and Stephen (Lily) of Florida, "Best bud" of 27 years Joyce Everson, brother in law Robert George, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved "fierce"; Aunts, uncles and cousins as well as devoted friends.
