Betty Lou (Hurd) Lane

Betty Lou Lane 88 of Tallmadge passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Akron City Hospital. She was born November 14, 1932 in Ravenna, Ohio to Herschel Sr. and Elda (Eckert) Hurd. Betty was a long time member of the Charlestown United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 57 years Carl Lane, sons Michael and Steven Lane, grandchildren Nathan and Dakota and great grandson Lyric. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Herschel Hurd Jr., Gale Hurd and Leslie Hurd. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Friday, September 3, 2021 at Charlestown United Methodist Church, 6408 Rock Spring Road, Ravenna, Ohio. Burial will follow in Charlestown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Jimmy Swaggart Ministry, 8919 World Ministry Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
