Billie E White

Billie E. White, 86 of Shalersville passed away Saturday April 3, 2021 at is home with his family by his side.  On May 11, 1934 he was born in Scott Town, Ohio to the late Chauncey and Nellie (Miller) White.  Mr. White has lived in Shalersville the past 61 years and  in 1993 he retired as a supervisor for Universal Steel Company.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1953 to 1956.  Survivors include his wife of 65 years Estell I. (Galloway) White whom he married September 1, 1955, his children Barbara (Michael) Dickerson, Sheila (Todd) Bennett, Vicki (John) Pittman, Diana (Dennis) Foster, David (Michelle) White, Terry (Kim) White, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and siblings Doris Rusk and Bobby White.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gerald White, sisters Norma Jean Boggs Betty Warren and Loris Jones.  At the family's request private services will be held with burial and military honors at Riverside Cemetery Shalersville, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Billie may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
