Carl W. Garlitz

Carl William Garlitz, 79 of Streetsboro passed away Sunday May 12, 2013 at Maplewood Care Center in Streetsboro. He was born November 8, 1933 in Kingwood, West Virginia to the late Olen and Olive (Memear) Garlitz. Mr. Garlitz has lived in Streetsboro the past 58 years and retired from Polson Rubber in Garrettsville. He was a member of the Ravenna Moose and Streetsboro Eagles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Gary and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his children Pam (Gary) Hale of Freedom, Shawnee Doman of Kingwood, West Virginia, Barbara Petrice of Coalton, West Virginia, Brenda (Mark) Readd of Masontown, West Virginia, Jeff (Darlene )Garlitz of Streetsboro, 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and his close friend Delores McGee of Streetsboro.
