Carol J. Mast

Carol J. Mast 86 of Ravenna passed away November 19, 2022 at the Arbors of Stow. She was born September 19, 1936 in Shalersville, Ohio to the late Willard and Leora (Roth) Mellin. Carol worked for Montigney's Hardware and retired from Acme as a pharmacy assistant. In 1954 she married her high school sweetheart Ronald Ziska and had 4 children. She later married Harold Mast and spent 27 years together until he passed in 2005. She shared many adventures, including driving a big rig and traveling. Carol was a kind hearted, sweet, God loving woman who knew someone anywhere she went. She will be missed by her children Philip (Kay) Ziska, Paul Ziska, Roni Ziska and Jena (Dan) Michl, grandchildren Andrew (Melissa) Ziska, Leslie (Jason) Schnering, Ben (Kasey) Ziska, Allison (Tom) Dirham, Fred (Rachael) Zieber and David (Treasure) Michl, great grandchildren Blake, Tyler, Ryan, Mason, Madison, Lukas, Autumn, Quinn, Lillian, River, Lincoln and Jacob and nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents and siblings Evelyn, Bonnie and Butch. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Maplewood Christion Church with Reverend William Snyder officiating.
