Charles E. Scullin, 79, of Streetsboro died Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was born August 26, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Molly Scullin. Charles was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro, served in the US Army, was a member of the Streetsboro VFW and American Legion and the Bedford Eagles. He retired from the USPS in Bedford, where he was a postal worker. Survivors include his wife Margaret Ann (Ramey), daughters Karen (Gerry Cosner) Scullin of Garrettsville and Lisa (John) Weist of Aurora, step daughter Lisa Sarkel of Ashland, stepson Michael Kusky of Washington, PA, grandchildren Christopher Weist and Curtis Cosner, 8 step-grandchildren and a sister Mary Byrne of Parma. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers James and George Scullin. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with Fr. Pat Ferraro officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Northfield. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693-5120.
