Charles B. "Chuck" Sherman

Charles B.  "Chuck"  Sherman, passed away peacefully at his home  on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Chuck was born on February 14, 1928 to the late Donald B. and Gladys (Wierman) Sherman in Syracuse, New York. He has lived in Ravenna since 2006 and was formerly of Elkhart, Indiana for 30 years.  Chuck was the owner of the Sherman Company in Elkhart, Indiana and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He belonged to the Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his children Susan Sedlak, Kathleen A. Sherman, Mark Sherman and his brother Robert S. Sherman. He is survived by his wife, Jenell (Huff) Sherman whom he married November 25, 1978; his children Nancy Lahodny, Mary (John) Prusa, Teresa (Jeff) Earle, Barry R. Sherman, Bruce C. (Kathy) Sherman, William M. Sherman, Kenneth (Rebecca) Sherman, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends and family may be received on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, Ohio. Following the services, cremation will take place and inurnment will take place at a later date in St. Mary Cemetery  Ravenna, Ohio..  Memorials can be made to the Wounded Warriors program or to St. Judes Hospital.
