Charles W. "Chuck" Snyder, 78 of Ravenna passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. On September 21, 1943 in Salem, Ohio, Mr. Snyder was born to the late Ralph and Dorothy (Liezert) Snyder. Living in Ravenna most of his life Chuck had worked as a Ravenna Police Officer and then worked at the Ravenna City Street Department before retiring in 2003 and all the while being a member of the Ohio National Guard. He had a passion for racing enjoying NASCAR and all the dirt racing he can get too. Enjoying the outdoors, Chuck also loved camping and boating. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard Snyder. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sue A. (Morehead) Snyder whom he married July 25, 1965, his daughters Kin (Chris) Lustritz, Hollie (JJ) Moore and siblings Gary Snyder and Darlene Forgacs.
