Craig M. Bender

Craig M. Bender, 32 of Streetsboro, passed away Thursday May 11, 2023 at the Kent Center.  On September 3, 1990, he was born in Ravenna, Ohio to Kirk D, Bender and Cathrine A, (Horwath) Johnson.  Craig has been a lifelong Streetsboro resident and had worked as mold operator for Kinetico in Newbury.  He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro.  Survivors include his mother Cathy A. Johnson, his grandmother Rose Horwath, aunt Karen (Jerry) Benci, uncles Stanley Stapinski, Terry Bender and cousins Jerry, Autumn and Allison plus many other cousins.  His father Kirk preceded him in death.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial mass of christian burial will be at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro on May 23 at 10:30 am followed by graveside services at Evergreen cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the conclusion of the services at St. Joan of Arc Church hall. A celebration of life will be held on June 17th from 2-5 at St Joan of Arc Church outside Pavillion.
