Cynthia Jo Carden, (Reedy), (Marsh), 74 of Ravenna, Ohio gained her Angel wings on 9/10/2022. Born in Ravenna, Ohio 1/27/1948 to Robert Arthur Reedy and Mary Ellen Reedy (Veon). Cynthia was a 1966 Ravenna High School graduate. She was the first girl born after Richard and David, and had two younger sisters, Sandra and Lynea as well as younger brother Gary. She would often talk of the mischievous fun she would have with her older brothers and their cars and how she would watch out for the younger siblings and step in as an older sister while her mom was working. Stories of her best friend Sandy Land (Rhodaback) and hanging out at the Raven. Cindy worked as a cook for many years with her mother, sisters, and the Bentley’s at The Rusty Nail in Twin Lakes. She wore many hats at many places, L & K at Cotton Corners, Ike’s Diner, The Moose Lodge 1234, Shep’s, Kids Kare in Kent. The most gracious, loving mother anyone could wish for. A sister that exerted hope, love, and compassion. Cindy loved Lifetime and Hallmark movies and Disney. Her favorite was always Cinderella. Christmas and the season was her favorite. She gleamed with sparkle when she was preparing, decorating, shopping, or watching all her loved ones around her enjoy her special time of year. A music lover at heart, from Christmas songs to The Beatles, James Taylor, Elvis and all of her favorites would ring out in the house. Majic 105.7 was always on while we were growing up. Cindy touched so many souls with gentility, grace, a loving smile, and huge heart. Cindy will always be remembered for her exuberant laugh, great sense of humor and her love for family and the Lord. Heaven has gained a special Angel. Cynthia was met in Heaven by her son Chad Michael Marsh, brother David Lee Reedy, Father Robert Arthur Reedy, Mother Mary Ellen Reedy (Veon), and nephew Richard M. Reedy II. Cynthia’s legacy will be carried on by her loving husband Raymond Carden, son Phillip Dean Marsh, daughter Chrisanna Lee Stevens (Marsh), daughter Tracy Mason (Carden), daughter Heather Vaughn (Carden), daughter Megan White (Carden), Brother Richard M. Reedy, brother Gary W. Reedy, sister Sandra K Evans (Reedy), and sister Lynea J. Pendleton (Reedy). 19 wonderful grandchildren, 21 darling great-grandchildren and 19 nieces and nephews with whom she had a special love for each and every one. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Cremation will follow the service.
