Daniel J Porcase

Daniel J. Porcase, 80 of Ravenna, passed away Friday November 11, 2022 at the McCrea Manor Nursing Home and Rehab in Alliance, Ohio.  He was born  July 31, 1942 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Joseph and Edith (Richardson) Porcase.  Living in Ravenna most of his life, Daniel retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg where he worked as a die maker.  He is a veteran of the US Air Force.  Daniel enjoyed classic cars being a member of the Nostalgic Cruisers, flying model airplanes being a member of the Ravenna Thunderbirds and Alliance Balsa Bees and also was an amateur ham radio operator.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Stiles.  Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Karen (Colvin) Porcase whom he married January 15, 1966, his children Vickie (Brett) Burkey, Daniel (Becky) Porcase, his grandchildren Brandon Burkey, Stephanie Burkey, Joseph Ferrante, Anthony Ferrante, Samantha Ferrante, Savannah (Jason) Kalbaugh, Scott (Amanda) Porcase, Amanda (Mike) Svoboda, Zachary (Nycol) Porcase,  his great grandchildren Tristan, Kylie, Piper, his siblings Paul (Nancy) Porcase, Candy Wyers, Jo-Ann (Paul) Sabathe, his son in law Mike Stiles and many nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be Friday November 18, 2022 from 6-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Military Honors by the US Air Force will be at 6:00 PM.  Condolences and memories of Daniel may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
