Denise R (Harris) Dukes

Denise R. Dukes, 55 of Ravenna, passed away Friday September 11, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on December 18, 1964 to the late Jesse and Barbara (Moore) Harris. Being a lifelong Ravenna resident, she had worked for  Smithers Oasis in Kent, Ohio for over 25 years. She was the Superintendent of Sunday school and a Sunday school teacher of the Tabernacle of God in Ravenna, Ohio, where she served over 30 years.  Denise is survived by her husband of 35 years, Darrell L. Dukes whom she married on January 18, 1984; her children, Tonya Dukes, Andrew Dukes, Darrell L. Dukes Jr., Danita Dukes, D’Andre Dukes; 11 grandchildren, one great grandson and siblings, Sidney (Lajoyce) Harris , Raymond Harris,  Brenda (Tony) Freeman. Calling hours will be from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:30 am on Saturday September 19, 2020 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral  Homes Ravenna, Chapel.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
