Dolores "Dee" J. (Earley) Malinzak

Dolores "Dee" J. Malinzak 82 of Ravenna passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020. She was born March 29, 1938 in East Liverpool, Ohio to William N. and Anne (Hamilton) Earley.  Dolores was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, loved to cook, sew, taught cooking at Immaculate Conception School and was avid about saving the Gray Wolves.  Her famous chocolate chip cowboy cookies, painted Christmas cookies, kolaches, apple pies, cakes and Sunday pizza made for some great lunch trades for her children.  She loved gardening in her English garden and always had a fresh vegetable plate with every dinner in the summer along with her jello popsicles.  Nobody left her house hungry.  Dee never missed sending a birthday, anniversary, wedding, Christmas or card for any other occasion and her annual Christmas ornament gifts will be missed.  Survivors include her husband Roger of 62 years, sons Michael (Michelle), John (Bonnie) and Jim Malinzak, grandchildren Matthew, Jared, Kelsey, Ryleigh, William and Elie and sisters Donna Saletrik and Judi Milewsky.  At her request cremation has taken place.  A memorial mass may be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  We would like to thank Hospice and specifically her nurse Megan for the tender and loving care she provided to Dee (mom) over the past several months.  A contribution can be made to the Akron zoo in her memory.
